This weekend I’m at the Take Back Your Health Conference in Los Angeles! At the conference I’ll be teaching a superfood smoothie demo inspired by my own recovery from chronic fatigue after incorporating superfoods into my diet.
My favorite company, Sunfood, has partnered with me this time. I use their products everyday anyways, so we decided to make it official!
I’m teaching two of my favorite superfood smoothie recipes, Mint Chocolate Shake and my Melon Basil Smoothie, plus one from the Sunfood team, the Purple Pineapple Protein smoothie. The recipe is below…I hope you enjoy it!

Purple Pineapple Protein Smoothie
Handful of Ice
12 oz pineapple juice, or Milk of your choice (soy, almond, hemp milk, etc.)
Half an apple, diced
Handful of pineapple chunks
1-2 Tbs. Protein powder (Sunfood Vanilla Rice Protein Powder)
1 Tbs. Maqui berry powder (Sunfood Maqui Berry Powder)
1 Tbs. Coconut palm sugar or 4 drops liquid stevia (Sunfood Coconut Palm Sugar)
1 tsp. Acai berry powder (Sunfood Acai Powder)
1 tsp. Green powder mix (Sunfood Sun is Shining)
Blend all ingredients together on high until smooth. Enjoy!
