    How To Love Your Social Life And Not Be So Lonely


    After getting to know you guys pretty well over the last 5 years at my conferences and retreats, I can see how busy everyone is, especially around their health, work and family. There isn’t much time for recreational activities, friends, relaxation, etc.

    I also know that many of you are dealing with crushing fatigue and pain that makes it difficult to get through the day’s normal activities.

    I was lucky that I actually got to see how much “being busy” was hurting me, and draining me, at a young age. When you’re stuck in a cycle of too little time, too much fatigue and pain, and not enough happiness, the only way out, is to let go…

    Let go of things that aren’t important, and spend time on things that are. Reprioritize.

    I know, that’s vague.

    But let me put it to you this way. LOVE and FRIENDSHIP are probably the two biggest things that you will regret not experiencing more of when you leave this life.

    I strive for quiet time, when I have absoutely nothing to do but call up a friend and say “I’m bored, want to hang out?”

    Friendships and the community of support that they bring are so important to our health, wellbeing and happiness.
