Ice Cold Chocolate Milk (Dairy-Free, Keto)

I have been completely addicted to this chocolate milk recipe lately! It is so good – I like it better than the store-bought chocolate milk. During the summer it’s been great for cooling me down and hydrating me too.

It actually does fill me up for a little while, so it makes a great snack. I use collagen protein and coconut oil in the drink to increase the nutrients and make it more filling.

You can definitely adjust the sweetness and protein/fat additions depending on your preferences…

And blending it gives it a nice frothy topping!

    Ice Cold Chocolate Milk

    Ingredients:
    1.5 cups nut milk*
2 generous pinches of pink or gray salt
dash of vanilla extract or vanilla powder
2 tsp. cocoa (or cacao) powder
1 dropperful of liquid stevia extract, or other sweetener of choice
    1 tsp. collagen protein
    1 Tbs. coconut oil
    4 ice cubes

    Directions:

    1. Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend on high until frothy, or ice cubes are completely gone. Enjoy right away!

    * You can use any milk of your choice in this recipe. However, I would avoid all animal dairy if you are chronically ill, and go for a nut or seed milk, like coconut, almond or hemp. If you used pre-made nut milk from a cartoon, avoid the sweetened versions, and go for organic. The most healthy version would be homemade almond milk or hemp seed milk, but I do use almond milk from a cartoon on occasion, which will taste really delicious with this recipe, to be honest!

I hope you enjoy the recipe, and…

    Keep taking back your health,
    Robin
