I’ve been reading and listening with much discom

I’ve been reading and listening with much discomfort to both sides of all of these arguments over the last few years. I think we’ve all been pretty uncomfortable with it… and perhaps haven’t even been able to listen to some beliefs and arguments.

I’ve done a lot of thinking, journaling and talking with close friends. I realized that my discomfort was stemming from a belief that I had to take a side when that really didn’t feel right.

There I was, falling for the division tactics without realizing it…pushing myself to fit into a category and pass judgement on the other side.

After a lot of introspection I can argue both sides to each of these, and it feels good.

In the end, extreme positions and black or white solutions exclude almost everyone. We’ve got to meet somewhere in the gray. Thanks @ross_2point0 ❤️

Thursday Check In ☀️ Life is kicking my butt. Here are some thoughts right now…

Food of the week at our house —>

I thought it would be fun to start a new tradition of chocolate fondue on Wednesday nights. Seasonal fruit dipped in a special cacao sauce with coconut oil, cacao powder, cacao butter, sea salt, vanilla essential oil from @youngliving, and coconut milk.

It might not last long. Turns out toddlers like to pour chocolate sauce all over themselves 😂and then they lose their sh*t for the next three hours…

Current Project —>

Packing up our house. Cleaning mold spores off of everything. 🤪 And launching the summer field trip series for @thecompassctr. I picked a combination of local cultural touristy spots and some fruit picking at local organic and low spray orchards and berry farms.

My intention this coming week —>

Breath and shake out uncomfortable feelings instead of letting them build up. And continue to allow myself to cry, love that part of myself, and feel the healing bliss when the crying naturally ends. 💕
