I’ve been having fun making various immune tonics this spring, and this is one of my family’s favorites! We have been keeping elderberry syrup and this natural Vitamin C powder on hand and they are delicious together. Toddlers and kids will love this too.
Elderberry Vitamin C Tonic
Ingredients:
1 tsp. Elderry juice or natural syrup
1/4 tsp. natural Vitamin C powder
1 tsp. lemon juice
4 drops liquid stevia
Pinch of pink or gray salt
8 ounces sparkling water or filtered flat water
Ice cubes (if desired)
Method:
1. Combine all ingredients except ice together into a tall glass and whisk with a fork to combine.
2. Add ice if desired. Enjoy immediately!
3. You can make a batch ahead - store in an airtight glass jar in the fridge for no more than 2 days.
You can change up the flavor by adding some organic concord grape juice, or orange juice. Have fun with it! Even I get really bored with just water. The important thing is to stay hydrated, and keep giving your body the nutrients it needs for immune support.
Keep taking back your health,
Robin
